FAQ

Does the badge update automatically?

Yes. Every badge request serves the latest scan in cache. Re-scan a package and all embedded badges update on their next cache miss.

Can I show a version-specific badge?

Yes — append ?version=X.Y.Z to the badge URL. Useful for release notes and tagged docs.

What happens if my score drops?

The badge updates on the next scan. If you prefer an alerting integration, email hello@mcpsafe.io.

Can I suppress my badge?

Email hello@mcpsafe.io from an address that matches the package maintainer listing and we will remove it.

Do you track which sites embed my badge?

No. Request metadata is used only for edge-cache metrics; referer headers are not stored.
